MIEBRS provides consultancy services and also undertakes turnkey project on contaminated site assessment / characterization and Eco-restoration of contaminated sites (i.e. lands / ponds / lakes). Depending on the type and intensity of contamination, eco-restoration of the particular contaminated site is carried out using suitable customized technologies like BIOREMEDIATION (for hazardous organic waste contaminated sites), PHYTO-REMEDIATION (for sites contaminated with heavy metal pollution), SALINITY REMEDIATION (for sodic soils i.e. sites contaminated with high sodium content in terms of SAR (sodium absorption ratio) value, which makes the soil non fertile for vegetation growth), SOIL AMENDMENT & REHABILITATION technique (for contaminated sites with imbalance in essential nutrients in the soil).
